Paste the brand's email. It tells you whether the money is fair, what to film and at what angle, what you legally can't say, and what you're still missing before you put the camera down.
Your brief, your contract and your clips never leave your browser. There is nowhere to upload them to.
Why it can win
Two of those, any tool with a model behind it can do. The middle one is the part nobody can copy.
Pulls the money, the shots, the deadline and the usage rights out of a messy email, then works out what the job is actually worth.
After three campaigns the benchmark stops being a guide off the internet and becomes your own history. That is the part a competitor cannot buy.
And it waits for your go before anything is sent. It never emails a brand in your name.
What it actually does
Every number below is computed from the brief you paste. Nothing is written in advance.
Not a generic rate card. It reads what they asked for and prices each ask: paid ads, perpetual usage, exclusivity, raw files. Then it drafts the reply with those reasons attached, so you aren't asking for more "because".
Skincare, tech, food, home, fashion, health, fitness — it works out which one from the email, and every direction follows from that. Food at 45°, because at eye level it looks like a diner menu photo. Fashion with the camera at hip height, because at eye level your legs look short.
And what you can't say. Telling people a cream "clears acne" turns a cosmetic into a drug in a regulator's eyes — and you're the one saying it, not the brand.
Real output, not a mockup. The category was worked out from the brief, and everything below it follows from that.
Drop your clips in and it reads each one off your disk — real duration, real dimensions — then checks them against the brief, one by one. A clip filmed horizontal when the brief said 9:16 is a rejected delivery, and you find out now instead of after you've packed up.
Every other tool checks after you upload. This one checks before you put the camera down.
It reads each clip off your disk — real duration, real dimensions — and matches them to the brief one by one.
Every vertical platform eats the top and bottom of the frame with its own buttons and captions. Put your text there and it lands behind the share button — and you only find out once it's posted.
The safe band is 900×1400, centred. Shotmatch UGC checks your framing against it before you deliver, and tells you which platform is the tightest.
The top and bottom 15 % of every vertical video get covered by the interface. Put your text there and it lands behind the share button.
TikTok, Reels and Shorts share the same canvas, so one file covers all three. What actually needs reframing is the feed, the square and the horizontal — and there it does not crop. Cropping vertical to horizontal eats 68 % of the frame and pushes your face out.
It also gives you a clean version with no captions, so the brand can localise it. That's what separates a creator from a supplier.
Pricing
The shot list, the hooks, the script and the missing-shot check are unmetered on every plan, including free. Charging you to point out a shot you forgot would be like a GPS charging for the wrong turn.
Hit your fifth campaign and the sixth is $6, or move up. Nothing is blocked on a Friday with a deadline on it. Cancel any time from your account — you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Questions
No. Your brief, your contract and your clips are read in your own browser. There is no server to send them to, which is why we can promise it.
No. In UGC the brand buys the file, not your audience — which is why Billo, JoinBrands and Influee ask for none.
No. Shotmatch UGC explains a contract and flags clauses that usually cost money. It does not draft contracts and it is not a law firm. For anything large, have a lawyer read it.
Never without you. It drafts the reply and waits. Nothing is sent in your name.
No. They come from published UGC rate guidance and vary by country and niche. They are there so you can tell when an offer is far off the market, not to set an exact price.
Any time, from your account, without contacting anyone. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
The small print
Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Shotmatch UGC is production software for user-generated-content creators and the agencies that book them. It reads a brand brief you provide, estimates a market rate range, generates hooks, scripts and shot lists, flags contract clauses, and checks recorded footage against the brief.
It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. It is not a financial adviser and does not provide financial or investment advice. Rate ranges are estimates from published guidance, not valuations. You are responsible for the content you create, the contracts you sign and the claims you make on camera.
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping your login secure. One subscription covers one creator, except on the UGC Agency plan, which covers the number of creator seats stated on that plan.
You keep all rights to everything you put in. Briefs, contracts and video files are processed in your own browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
Do not use Shotmatch UGC to produce content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that makes medical, health or financial claims you cannot substantiate.
We may change features and prices; existing subscribers are told at least 30 days before a price change takes effect. You may cancel at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
Shotmatch UGC is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
